About Paul
Paul is an interdisciplinarian.  The list of jobs and types of jobs Paul has studied and worked at is varied and all through this he does not consider any one job to be more valuable than any other.  They all combine to develop self, practice and dialogue, as well as provide outside platforms for integration of ideas and messages, so the journey is one of cultivating a lifelong interest in learning how things work, coupled with a healthy dose of the humor and absurdity of being here at all!
He builds custom furniture and is a licensed big-rig driver (whatever the folks where you’re from call 18-wheelers, you know… big combination vehicles). When he was young he was a national judo champion and could do the Rubik's cube in under a minute.

Paul has a mission, which is to help people learn how to lead more creative lives and operate within what they do using a more creative mindset.

Paul leads a varied and creative working life, having done the following:
- international touring performer
- university professor
- garbage man
- business coach
- commercial salmon fisherman in Alaska
- marine construction/demolition company manager
- proprietor of a pie shop  in Pie Town, New Mexico
- teamster

Paul lives in New York and Copenhagen.

Openness to experience describes a dimension of personality that distinguishes imaginative, creative people from down-to-earth, conventional people.
People who use language of this kind tend to be far more intellectually curious and sensitive to beauty and appreciative of what they consider beautiful, no matter what others think. Their imagination is vivid and makes them more creative than many others. Their beliefs are individualistic and frequently drift towards the unconventional, and they enjoy their imagination and the exciting places it takes them!
Conscientiousness concerns the way in which we control, regulate, and direct our impulses.
People who use language of this kind tend to be random and fun to be around but can also plan and persist when life requires it. Depending on the situation, they can make quick decisions or deliberate for longer if necessary.
Extraversion is marked by pronounced engagement with the external world, versus being comfortable with own company.
People who use language of this kind tend to be similar to people who prefer low-key social occasions, with a few close friends. They might say that it's not that they're afraid of large parties - they do enjoy and actively seek out social occasions, but would say that they're not everything; they're just not that fun and is nice to step back for a while and have a quiet night in.
Agreeableness reflects individual differences in concern with cooperation and social harmony.
People who use language of this kind tend to get along well with others, especially once they have proved themselves to be trustworthy. They seem to have a healthy scepticism about others' motives, but that doesn't stop them from considering others to be basically honest and decent.
Neuroticism refers to the tendency to experience negative emotions.
People who use language of this kind tend to be calm and emotionally stable. They come across as someone who is rarely bothered by things, and when they feel down the feeling does not persist for very long.
